ADOPTION PROCESS
FOSTER
Each pet is brought to a veterinarian for an exam, testing, vaccinations, rabies, and treatment for any health issues found. Once settled into a foster home we bring the animals in to be spayed or neutered. At the foster home our animals receive love, care, and training to prepare them for their next step to become part of their forever family.
ADOPT
RUFF relies upon local families to adopt the pets we find. While animals are completing their health and training goals in their foster home, potential adopters can contact RUFF to request an adoption application.
FINAL STEPS
Each potential adopter meets the adoptable pet and ensures they meet any other pets in the homes of the potential adopters. If all goes well RUFF will do a home safety check, then ask the adopter to complete the adoption application, adoption fee, and adoption agreement.
