RUFF was established on 4/1/2022 to meet an overwhelming need in our community. At RUFF, our mission is to provide a swift rescue with rehabilitation, when possible, for lost and abandoned animals. Once rehabilitated the goal is to find a safe, loving home for them.

In addition, RUFF rescues strays locally with the goal of changing their lives one at a time. Quite often RUFF is able to rescue local pets and return to their homes. RUFF heavily supports the use of micro chips and encourages all pet families to update their pet micro chips regularly.

Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and groups to get involved and make a difference in the lives of local animals. Our volunteer teams include: outreach, rescue, foster, adoption, and fundraising. RUFF encourages volunteers to choose an area to highlight their talents as well as benefit the RUFF mission.

RUFF is proud to be a member of the PACC911 family. PACC911 brings together the many animal welfare organizations throughout Arizona, most in Maricopa County, by uniting them and offering opportunities to work together for the greater benefit of the animals.

Our Impact
Over the past two years RUFF has had an incredible impact upon our community. Lost dogs have been found through RUFF coordination of our wonderful volunteers. Stray animals have been brought to a safe space to decompress, receive needed medical care, rehabilitated, and found loving homes.
Online DONATIONS
RUFF is a 100% volunteer 501c3 organization. With affordable adoption fees, RUFF relies almost completely on donations and fundraisers.
